Slow progress

After a week of Hamblet competition time sucking requirements, Ken and I are back on the baby trail.  This afternoon we both made some progress with our home projects.  Ken started cutting on the sheetrock to cover up the odd construction the people who owned this place before us did.  My friend Amy (admittedly a sucker for doing this) came by to help me peel off the horribly hideous 3-d wall paper that only covered the walls that weren't hidden behind the closets that used to be sound studios.  Now I have to put up some less hideous 3-d wall paper to cover up the groovy 70's paneling.  All this work and this space is just going to turn into a guest room/ office space/home studio for Libby so that we can turn the current office space/guest room into a nursery for the kid.
Some images to entice you into coming to Nashville to help!

  2. Sorry we can't be there to oversee your work. (Yours- not Ken's- 'cause we know what a slacker you can be) We are with you in spirit though- and love seeing your progress!

  4. I'm so sad that my big project is happening at the same time as your big (and infinitely more momentous) project so I can't come help you get ready.

I'm so happy and excited for you.

    love,
